Terms & Conditions

1. Orders & Payments

All prices are confirmed in writing prior to purchase.

For bespoke projects, a deposit is required to secure your production slot. Production will not begin until both the deposit has been received and the sign-off document has been approved.

The remaining balance must be paid prior to delivery or installation unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Deposits are non-refundable once production scheduling has been confirmed.

As all furniture is made to order, cancellations are not accepted once manufacture has commenced.

Unauthorised chargebacks or payment disputes made without prior written communication will be treated as a breach of contract and may be pursued accordingly.

2. Design & Approval

All designs, drawings, visuals, layouts and specifications must be approved by the client prior to manufacture.

Approval is provided via a virtual sign-off document confirming dimensions, finishes, hardware selections and internal configurations.

Once written approval has been given, no further changes can be made.

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all measurements and specifications are correct before approval.

3. Bespoke Furniture

All furniture is made to order and tailored specifically to each client.

Due to the bespoke nature of our products, items are non-returnable and non-refundable once production has commenced.

Natural materials may display variation in grain, tone and texture. These are not considered defects.

Colour appearance may vary slightly depending on lighting conditions and screen displays.

4. Installation Requirements

Our furniture is designed to be professionally installed.

Installation must be carried out either by Haven & Home Design or by a qualified and experienced builder, carpenter or tradesperson familiar with cabinetry installation.

Improper installation voids any workmanship guarantee.

Where installation is included, items are inspected at the point of installation. By permitting installation to proceed, the client confirms acceptance of the goods as supplied.

5. Site Preparation

All site works, including plastering, flooring, decorating and electrical preparation, must be fully completed in the area of installation prior to our arrival.

The installation space must be clean, clear and ready for cabinetry fitting.

Haven & Home Design reserves the right to postpone installation if the site is not suitably prepared. Any additional visits or labour required as a result may incur further charges.

6. Access & Delivery Conditions

The client is responsible for ensuring safe, clear and adequate access to the property and installation area.

This includes:

  • Doorway and hallway clearance

  • Stair access

  • Lift access (where applicable)

  • Suitable parking arrangements

If access restrictions are not disclosed in advance and furniture cannot be delivered or installed as planned, additional charges may apply.

Where necessary, large items may require partial disassembly to allow access through doorways or stairwells. Any additional labour required for disassembly and reassembly may be chargeable.

Delays caused by restricted access or unsuitable site conditions may result in rescheduled installation and additional costs.

7. Delivery

We deliver across England and Wales.

Delivery charges vary depending on location and size of the piece and will be confirmed at the point of quotation or checkout.

Clients must inspect goods upon delivery and report any visible damage within 48 hours in writing.

8. Exclusions

Unless expressly stated in writing, prices do not include:

  • Appliances

  • Televisions

  • Decorative items

  • Third-party or specialist appliances not supplied directly by Haven & Home Design

We are not responsible for the installation, performance or compatibility of appliances not supplied by us.

9. Materials & Finishes

We use a combination of real timbers, premium veneers, moisture-resistant MDF and solid wood components depending on the piece and application.

Painted finishes are professionally spray applied and hand-laid off. Minor variation in brush texture is part of the handcrafted character and not considered a defect.

General wear and tear, accidental damage and misuse are not covered under warranty.

10. Warranty

We provide a workmanship guarantee covering structural integrity under normal residential use.

This does not cover:

  • General wear and tear

  • Impact damage

  • Water damage

  • Improper installation

  • Misuse or neglect

Any concerns must be reported in writing within a reasonable timeframe.

11. Intellectual Property

All designs, drawings, visuals, documentation and concepts remain the intellectual property of Haven & Home Design.

They may not be copied, shared, reproduced or used for manufacture elsewhere without prior written permission.

12. Limitation of Liability

Haven & Home Design shall not be liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses arising from the use of our services or products.

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the goods supplied.

13. Force Majeure

We shall not be held liable for delays or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to supplier shortages, transport disruption, weather events or government restrictions.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
